For the release of the new game GOD OF WAR- Ragnarök by Sony Studio, Sony PlayStation called on Double 2 agency to imagine an unusual activation capable of engaging both fans of the game and a wider audience. Pong Studio had the idea of taking inspiration from the Bayeux tapestry to tell the story (without spoilers) of 4 of the 9 kingdoms in which the game’s 2 heroes evolve: Kratos and Atreus.

 

The studio asked renowned illustrators to imagine the 4 kingdoms: Séverine Monsonego for Alfheim, Sébastien Feraut aka NIARK1 for Svartalfheim, Thibault Daumain for Nilfheim and Yoan aka Yo Az for Midgard. 

A 100 meters fresco is created in the subway with the possibility to flash QR codes to listen to podcasts written and recorded by the famous Youtubeur Nota Bene.

On the Fnac’s social networks, Pong Studio animates the mural in 4 episodes in motion design to encourage people to discover the podcasts of Nota Bene.

And finally, Pong Studio creates a covering of the Micromania stores personalizing these points of sale
